I always make sure that I give the best for my kid (Harvey). He is my priority and I want to make sure that he enjoys his activity every day, but there are times that I need to say no and that makes him sad. We parents tend to have this instinct that to say no and forbid what we know that will affect our kids' health.

NIDO® 3+ and 5+ empowers parents to say YES and LET GO of their kids, letting them explore, learn, and appreciate the real world through fun, educational, role-playing activities. Just in time for National Children’s Month, NIDO® 3+ and 5+ in partnership with KidZania Manila presents the NIDO® 3+/5+ City Challenge.

NIDO encourages parents to let go of our kids that is why they planned this City Challenge that features a series of strategically-designed activities that aim to help parents guide their growing-up kids in performing basic to difficult tasks.

The KidZania activities include the following:

1. Bookstore
2. Window Washing
3. Acting Academy
4. Police Station and CSI
5. Farm House.

Each of these challenges come with three levels depending on who’s performing the task: parent and kid for Beginners, individual mom or dad and kid for Intermediate, and kid only for Expert. By going through each level, parents become more confident and accepting in letting go of their little ones, for them to slowly learn how to manage on their own, giving way for their self-help and adaptive skills to improve. A corresponding number of stamps is earned after successfully completing each level, and exciting prizes await those who can collect a total of ten stamps.

Language skills are also promoted as parents and kids would need to effectively communicate with each other to complete the challenges, while cognitive skills are further enhanced through tasks the require problem-solving, reasoning, memory, and decision making.

In addition, parents will also be able to aid their kids in exercising their motor skills with the various movements involved in the challenges, which range from dancing and carrying or delivering of goods, to fine motor movements such as writing.

“We really took into consideration the various learning aspects that growing kids need for their age bracket,” says Missy Ayson, Vice President and Lead Consumer Marketing Manager for NIDO® Growing-Up Milks. “And with the NIDO® 3+/5+ City Challenge, we are giving parents the opportunity to develop their children’s social skills, analytical comprehension, adaptability, and more while allowing them to bond together in the process.“

Aside from the City Challenge, Harvey also tried how to a firefighter. It was a good experience on him. He learns where do fire can start, what to do when there is fire. He also had a chance to put the fire off!

Even though that being a Firefighter is not listed on the program, I still let Harvey do it because he was so excited.

He was able to all of the activities all by himself. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM!

The NIDO® 3+/5+ City Challenge really teaches not just the kids but also the parents on how we can let our children enjoy every activity and explore their imagination. Come over at  KidZania to experience NIDO® 3+/5+ City Challenge this will run from November to December 2018 at KidZania Manila, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Let we give you some highlights of our NIDO® 3+/5+ City Challenge. First Harvey needs to encash his Checque from BPI. The cash that he got from the bank will be his money buying around the place.

Our next stop is the Police Station, here we're a team. We solve the problem to find a clue for a case.
